October VE Session
Our October 2014 VE Session will be held on Saturday October 4th at Thomas Nelson Community College starting at 9 am. TNCC is located off of Centerville Road on Opportunity Way just across from the old and now gone Outlet Mall. The tests will be given in room 110 on the first floor. The examinations will begin at 9 am but I will be getting there around 8:30 am to set up and find the Security Guard to open the room. I will place signs at the entrance and if possible have some VE’s standing by to provide directions to the to the room. Any available VE’s that can make it will be greatly appreciated.
I have sent the ARRL a request for examination materials this morning and received confirmation indicating they have the request. We should see the information on the ARRL site within a few days.
Those of you who wish to either upgrade their current license or anyone wishing to take the exam the first time the cost is still $15. The amount can be paid by check (made out to the ARRL VEC) and of course cash is always taken.
