April 2014 VE Testing Session

We had a very successful VE session yesterday over at TNCC. There were 11 candidates who took 16 different elements with 9 candidates earning a new license.

Among them, we had a few club members earn their ticket or upgrade. Rita Wood passed both the Technician and General exams, and can’t wait to get on the air! Bob W4NYS and Chris KK4WNQ upgraded to General, and Bob KK4VVB upgraded to Amateur Extra. Congratulations to everyone!

A special thanks to Steve W4DMZ for getting us the TNCC classroom again. This is an outstanding venue and allows us to accommodate many more candidates than the small conference room at the Library.
