Even though Morse code is no longer a requirement for obtaining an amateur license, it’s still alive and a widely used mode of operation, especially in low power setups. Anyone that is interested in Morse code are welcome to join us for our weekly code class.
At present, code class meets every other Thursday morning at 10:00am at Gizmoes (RadioShack) on Richmond Rd, across from Yankee Candle. Click here for map. Join the group beforehand for breakfast at Five Brothers Pancake and Steakhouse at 8:30am.
From beginners to experienced code operators looking to build up speed, code class is a great way to learn Morse code or practice using it before getting on the air.
