Club Members in the News

Recently a couple of club members were involved in an emergency preparedness training exercise. Bobby, N5VCU and Kyle, KK4BMZ participated with the Patriot’s Colony CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) in a realistic simulation to practice in the event of a natural disaster.

The Virginia Gazette ran a story on the front page of the August 2 edition about the exercise. Featured in a photograph are both Kyle and Bobby. A copy of the story along with the photo is found below. The photo caption does have Bobby’s name misspelled, but in the article they did get it correct.
